After you give birth there’s a lot that happens to your body that I did not know about. First, you bleed a lot! I bled a lot right after birth and everyday until recently ( it’s been 5 weeks). I knew I would bleed after, but not for 5 weeks! It felt like it would never end. It seems like it stopped for now, I guess we’ll see!
Second, your whole body is sore! Well at least for me. My body hurt so bad, my only relief was taking a hot shower and just letting the water run down my body. I would take maybe 3 hot showers a day! continue reading!
I wanted to share how it all went down on the day my son was born! Originally I was due April 28 and around 3 am on April 29 I started having contractions. The contractions we’re very mild that I didn’t even think anything of them. At around 5 am they were still mild but consistent so I called the doctor. She told me it’s probably early labor and to just relax and to come to the hospital at around 8 am. continue reading!

So a little bit about me.. I am 26 years old and married. My husband and I decided to try for a baby last July thinking it would take months or even years. Luckily for us it happened right away! My pregnancy overall was fairly easy. Light morning sickness, some nausea, nothing too bad. We went in for our 20 week ultrasound to find out the sex and to check on how the baby as growing. Everything looked good, until she said the doctor was going to come in and talk to us and asked if I wanted my family ( who all came along to find out the sex) to hear what was going on. continue reading!
